Membership Report 2022–2023

Currently our Club has the following members:

During the year we were sad that the following Members chose to resign:

Sharron Green, Greg Gibbs, and Ambassador Shingo Yamagami (returned to Japan).

We are delighted to have welcomed three new members:

Judy Raymond joined August 2022.

Astrida Upitis joined February 2023.

Faye Powell having been an honorary member Faye has re-joined us as a full active member.

Changes have also been made to our meeting format. We currently meet as follows:

1st and 3rd Thursdays Lunch Meeting at the Commonwealth Club 12.30–1.30pm

2nd Thursday a Lunch Zoom Online Meeting 12.30–1.30pm

4th Thursday Informal Meeting at locations to be determined 5.30–6.30pm

5th Thursday — when they occur — lunch at the Commonwealth Club 12.30–1.30pm

It is important that we continue to seek additional members and plans are underway to conduct an information evening for potential members. This is expected to be held in Late July or August this year.

It is hoped that members find the new arrangements satisfactory and that the new arrangements are found to be very acceptable for potential new members especially those still working.

Membership is a responsibility of all club members and all are encouraged to pursue constant efforts to invite known contacts and associates to consider joining our club in order to continue to important work undertaken by members.
