I was invited to visit a Rotary meeting many years ago by one of my customers!
As the owner of a large Canberra Graphic Design studio, one of my clients — Ron Rabey — the owner of TableTop stores — invited me to the lunch meeting one Thursday in 1991. Immediately I felt welcomed to a club attempting to make a difference in the world. That attracted me and my skills were needed by the club. In those days only one member of a Rotary category could join, so I was the only Graphic Designer. These days we encourage more people of the same category to join and share the joy of making our world a better place.
My biggest contribution is the creation and management of the Canberra Rotary Peace Bell website. See www.canberrarotarypeacebell.org
