Hay High School Scholarships and Excursions to Canberra.
Dr George Wilson, co-ordinates our Indigenous programs by engaging with his ANU and professional associations to develop relationships with Indigenous communities and work with them on environmental programs. The success of his programs with the Anangu people at Imanpa NT, the Nari Nari at Hay, and the Ngiyampaa has been greatly appreciated by our Club. Our scholarship program with Wiradjuri students at Hay War Memorial High School has supported students with their studies for 8 years.
We need $10,000 to keep our programs rolling.
Tax-deductible donations can be made to one or both of
Rotary Club of Canberra Burley Griffin Indigenous Education or the Rotary Club of Canberra Burley Griffin Indigenous Environment Trust.
Did you know it was members of RCCBG that found these? Club members discovered and recorded unique rock paintings at Angas Downs leading to new research for university anthropologists.
You can donate directly to our club to support our projects in our community,
such as the Hay High School Scolarships via our Indigenous Education Trust, Beryl Women Inc and Karinya House, Mwonga Station, sponsorship of students or the NAtional Youth Science Forum (NYSF) , ACT Scouts

Canberra Rotary Peace Bell
Donations to the Canberra Rotary Peace Bell helps support the Canberra Rotary Peace Bell in its upkeep and in assisting the  Rotary Peace Programs including the Rotary Foundation, Rotary Peace Scholarships, Shelter Box Australia and support for Domestic Violence Issues. Rotary has Peace in the World as one of its core values.

Centurion Personal Contributions
Our District (District 9705) Centurions make a personal contribution to the Rotary Foundation. It is a way for Rotarians and Friends of Rotary to make a small regular personal contribution to the Rotary Foundation. These donations are Tax Deductable.

How to become a Centurion
You can become a Centurion along with fellow Rotarians and others by making a tax deductable contribution of AUD$ 100 or more per annum while ever you are in a position to do so. Your contribution (payable to The Australian Rotary Foundation Trust) supports the work of the Rotary Foundation. Fifty percent of the money donated to the Annual Programs Fund comes back to the District after 3 years and is used in developing our Foundation projects. Rotarians and their partners and friends become a Centurion by donating AUD$100 each year to The Australian Rotary Foundation Trust.
Rotarians, their partners and friends also receive Paul Harris Fellow recognition credits for each donation made in their name.

Make a difference

With your help, we can make lives better in your community and around the world. Donating to Rotary means clean water and sanitation. Health and hope in areas that were once ravaged by diseases like polio. Economic development and new opportunities. Your financial help makes all this happen, and more.

What impact can one donation have on the world?

It can save a life. A child can be protected from polio with as little as 60 cents. Our partners make your donation go even farther. For every $1 Rotary commits to polio eradication, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has committed $2.
