Community Awards
The Community Awards will be held at the Peace Bell this Sunday, March 22, at 2:00 PM. We would love to see you there. We also need a few volunteers to help with picking up and dropping off chairs from the hall; please let me know if you can assist.
Member Update
Andrea contacted me recently to share the news that her father has passed away. As many of you know, she dedicated a significant amount of effort to caring for him. Our thoughts are with her during this time.
Aussie Peace Walk
We need volunteers for the Aussie Peace Walk on March 28 to help stamp passports. This year will be slightly different as we will be stationed at the end of the walk. I do not have the exact times yet, but please consider setting aside a few hours that day to help.

Last Week’s Meeting:
National Youth Science Forum guests - Jack Falconer and teacher Graeme Cook from Erindale College
Jack hails from Gore in NZ and explained his accent as a blend of many migrants' languages over many years living together in a small community.
Jack talk enthusiastically about his experiences at the NYSF in January. His highlights included the visits to science projects like Tidbinbilla Space Centre and CSIRO, and meeting like-minded students from around Australia (predominantly regional areas) who attended. He attended our meeting with his teacher from Erindale College, Graeme Cook.
Jack’s biggest inspiration came for the Careers Opportunities function where he was able to speak with employers who guided him to the most appropriate university courses for his future studies.
Jack has ambitions in the field of Physics and spoke enthusiastically about astronomy.
We wish Jack every success with his future studies and hope to see him again soon.
