Good evening Club members and Friends,
Last Thursday our guest speaker Ambassador De La Vega from the Philippines gave a very interesting talk on the close relationship between her Country and Australia, and how we are now celebrating 75 years of a diplomatic relationship.
Next week our guest speaker is PDG Steve Hill.
Look out for a following E Mail from me with all the details regarding our TAFE dinner on Thursday the 29th April. I hope you all can all come - something different will be a good opportunity for socializing.
Let Linda know as soon as possible that you will be attending so we can finalize numbers with TAFE.
Remember also payment ( $35 per head ) must be paid to Ross before the evening. His note is below.
Another date to put in your diary is the 1st July which will be our Rotary year change over dinner. Again this is a special night for the Club - a chance to welcome our incoming President and thank the hardworking Board for all we have achieved in 2020/21.
We are still waiting to hear from the Canberra Rotary Club on a date for a joint meeting when the guest speaker will be the Governor General.
MORNING CHUCKLES.
Diapers and politicians should be changed often - and for the same reason.

The ability to speak several languages is an asset, but the ability to keep your mouth shut in any language is priceless.
Never make fun of someone who speaks broken English. It means they know another language.
Be decisive. Right or wrong make a decision . The road of life is paved with flat squirrels who could' not make a decision.
President Eric.
