Dear Michael and dear friends of the Rotary Club,
Really, it was a very nice and emotional event, very well attended and very timely as you say.
Our gratitude to our partnership and to you for all your good work, even more complicated this year with your wife's condition. We are happy that she is recovering well.
And the event was very timely indeed.
A big thanks and our warm regards and recognition,
Damian
PS and keep us posted in the Holocaust Remembrance Day preparations. Please liaise with my colleagues Julia and Cigi as I will not be in Australia during the month of January.

OTHER ROTARY at WORK and COMMUNITY NOTES
How Does Your Club Use Corflute Signage at Events?
This picture is of Past District Governor Ross Carlyle at an event hosted by the Rotary Club of Longford in District 9830.
Someone with a can-do communication style prepared a whole range of Rotary service projects showing the richness and diversity of programs on offer to a member of the local Rotary club.
This is Past District Governor James Wilcox's club and one of my favourite marketing photos of recent years. Rotary marketing can be very simple and it doesn't need to cost the earth.
Add value to your events by investing in temporary, easily storable signs like this.

ON THE LIGHTER SIDE
My wife was angry when I accidentally overcooked the ribeye tonight.
I told her everybody makes misteaks.
I used to be a bus driver but I had to quit.
I was fed up of people talking behind my back.
Three golf clubs walk into a bar.
The putter orders a beer and the wedge orders a whiskey.
The bartender asks the third one if he wants anything.
He replies, “No thanks, I’m the driver.”
Why did the dad who went out for pasta get locked out?
He had gnocchi.
I’m quitting my job at the chemical factory.
It’s a toxic workplace.

They practice mahogany.
There is no reason to tailgate me while I am doing 80 in a 50 zone!
And turn off those flashing blue lights on your car. They look RIDICULOUS!
My teacher always said not to worry about correct spelling, because we have autocorrect.
And for that I am infernally grapefruit.
I’m trying to convince my dad to get a new hearing aid.
But he just won’t listen.
Did you hear about the scientist whose pants kept falling down?
He won the no belt prize.
