Anzac Eve Peace Vigil on Mount Ainslie
There was no meeting last week, however Members Astrida and Bill helped set up lanterns for the Chorus of Women’s Peace Vigil on Mount Ainslie on the evening of 24 April. There was a big crowd present.
Next meeting
Our next Club meeting will be held on Thursday, 2 May 2024, at the Commonwealth Club. We will hear from the 13th Canberra Scouts Group on how our Club helped them.

Advance notice: Combined Rotary Community Service Awards, 19 May
On Sunday, 19 May, all Rotary Clubs in our Area will join forces for a ceremony at the Peace Bell to present Community Service Awards to people in the ACT and surrounds who have made a notable contribution to their communities. All members and their family and friends are welcome to attend the event, which is planned to start at 2 pm and take around one hour. Help will be needed to set up ahead of the formal start. A Club Runner invitation will be sent out in due course.
