Next meeting: special guest speaker
Our next meeting will be held at the Royal Canberra Golf Club on Thursday, 9 April. We have a special guest speaker: Bridget Colless, who lost her father when she was five years old. He was a captain of the HMAS Sydney, which was destroyed on 19 November 1941 in an encounter with a German raider, with no crew surviving. She’s spoken at significant events on this issue, and this is an ideal meeting to invite friends and potential members to. Please think of who you might invite.
If you are planning on attending but haven’t responded to Eric’s invitation, please do so by 11 am on Tuesday, 7 April.

All funds raised will support the Sundowners’ community service projects that are making a positive and lasting impact across our region.
As a growing club, we’re keen to strengthen connections with other Rotary clubs, and this event is a great opportunity to catch up with fellow Rotarians, enjoy a relaxed night out and maybe even claim some trivia bragging rights along the way.
Event details:

🕡 6:30pm start (doors open at 6:00pm)
📍 Hellenic Club, Woden (1 Matilda Street, Phillip)
