Nextweek we are back at the Golf Club for our meeting.

Our speaker will be Russell and the subject is '' Why Bushrangers did not wear sunglasses "

Should be very interesting so lets have a big turnout.

This week we are meeting at St Johns Church Reid for a tour of the cemetry and the Church.

Our speaker is Professor John Seymour who will talk to us on the subject of The Australian Naval Alliance with Britain from 1901 to 1945.

Our outing to the Scouts is our activity for this week so there will be NO lunch meeting this Thursday.

On Monday evening the 26th May the Club is to pay a visit to the O'Connor Scout Group.

They will show us over their Hall including the improvements they have made with the donations from our Club.

A light supper will be supplied after the tour.

Next Thursday we are having a combined meeting with the Canberra Rotoracts starting at 6.30 pm.

It will be back to the Mercure Hotel and our speaker will be our very own Astrida doing a presentation on Antartica.

It is  important we have a good roll up for this combined meeting so please come along if you can.

Peter will tell us all about the life of a Pofessional Golfer.

Our guest speaker will be Catherine from Tender Funerals on Meaningful and Affordable Funerals and how to make sure we get one.

A subject we probably need to start thinking about.

CHANGEOVER DINNER ON 26 JUNE AT THE MERCURE CANBERRA, 6.30 PM FOR 7.00 PM START.

Kent Fitch will be speaking about how autonomous vehicles can be used in the Canberra region, maybe as a test pilot for use in other Australian cities.

You are invited to our Changeover Dinner on the 26th of June starting at 6.30pm at the Mercure Hotel at Limestone Avenue Braddon.

Cost $50 Per Head including either a Beer ,Wine or Soft drink.

The meal will be Chicken Breast or Wild Mushroom ( not Deathcap ) Risotto ( alternate serves )
